Reopening the Winsley Play Area – 4th July

The Winsley Play Area is open from 4th July 2020 in line with guidance issued by:

Wiltshire Association of Local Councils (WALC)

WHILST CORONAVIRUS MEASURES ARE STILL IN PLACE, PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS AND HELP US MINIMISE THE RISKS OF SPREADING COVID-19

PLEASE DO NOT:

  • Enter the facility if you or anyone in your household are showing symptoms or are self-isolating
  • Enter the play area if it appears busy and avoid equipment that is already occupied
  • Bring food into the area
  • Smoke in the area

PLEASE REMEMBER:

  • The virus can survive longer on internal hard surfaces, so tube slides, playhouses and tunnels should be avoided
  • The virus can be transmitted by shouting, please encourage children to refrain from shouting

PLEASE DO:

  • Ensure that you and any children you are supervising wash or sanitise your hands before entering the play area and again on leaving
  • Supervise children to maintain good hygiene and avoid touching their faces before and after touching the equipment
  • Observe (and supervise children in observing) social distancing rules (2 metres where possible) from anyone outside your household or support bubble
  • Take all litter, including PPE and wipes home with you
