The Winsley Weaver is a community run magazine that is published monthly. It carries notices of forthcoming local activities – plays, festivals, fundraising events – reports from village organisations and a monthly diary. There are
opportunities for local businesses and organisations to advertise on a monthly or annual basis,
in either black and white or in colour. Individual small ads are also available. Monochrome
adverts for local events run by voluntary groups are free of charge for one month only.
We encourage articles of general interest – book reviews, notes on local history, or occasional
accounts of travel if they are interesting and ‘different’. If they are not immediately topical,
they might be held over until there is space.

Our deadline for submissions is 14th of each month, (a few days earlier in December). Articles should
not normally exceed 350 words, though we can make exceptions by arrangement. In selecting
material, we give priority to events or organisations in Winsley, and then in Bradford on
Avon. Inclusion of notices of events further afield would depend on space.

Copies of The Weaver can be bought at the Hartley Farm Shop. However, for a
modest annual subscription, it can be delivered to your door, usually in time for
the first of the month.
