Public Transport Statement.

Summary of the issues in two phases.
Once a definite plan has been agreed it will be published on this website.

Phase 1: Works on the Bradford Road / Dane Rise junction from 10/4/17 to approximately 17/4/17. During this time, buses would only be able to serve Tynings Road, missing out the western part of Winsley including the bus stops at the Seven Stars and Dorothy House. Access along Dane Rise to Bradford Road would not be possible during this time as there would be a hole in the road, and so passengers from these areas would need to either board at Tynings Road or at temporary bus stops on the bypass which would be far from ideal.

Phase 2: Works on the Bradford Road / Tyning Road junction 18/4/17 to 21/4/17.  During this phase, buses would not be able to run through the Tyning Road estate, but could possibly serve the western end by using Dane Rise.  However this would only be feasible if “keep clear” traffic cones were deployed on the narrower parts of Dane Rise to prevent parking. In this scenario, passengers who live on Tyning Road would need to catch the bus either at Dane Rise OR at temporary bus stops on the bypass.
